Dr. Paulo Miranda graduated in medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in 2000 and obtained his PhD from the same institution in 2012. For the past 20 years, Dr. Miranda has been working as an Assistant in the Endocrinology and Metabolism Service at Santa Casa de Belo Horizonte, where he is responsible for the medical residency program. Currently, he serves as the coordinator of the Endocrinology and Metabolism service at Mater Dei Hospitals. He is also the President of the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism (SBEM) for the 2023/2024 term
