Doctor Corvalán is a surgeon, Master in Public Health and a PhD in
Nutrition from. Emory University. She is Full Professor of the Institute of
Nutrition and Food Technology (INTA) of the University of Chile. She is also
Director and principal investigator of the Center for Research in Food
Environments and Prevention of Nutrition-Related Chronic Diseases
(CIAPEC), at INTA of the University of Chile.
